Feline brave? Join us in Warrington in October 2024 to put your nerves to the test with a firewalk!
Challenge yourself to walk barefoot across a bed of red-hot embers and raise funds to help give unwanted cats and kittens a second chance.
There is a registration fee of £25 and we ask you to raise a sponsorship commitment of £120 to help the cats and kittens in our care.
Or if you'd prefer to raise whatever you can, you can pay a £55 registration fee to take part and have no sponsorship commitment.
We'll be with you every step of the way from sign up to firewalk! We'll provide support and ideas to help you exceed your sponsorship commitment.
Full firewalk training will be provided from instructor Karen Sterling from BLAZE, who has safely guided thousands of people of all ages over hot coals.
Our Warrington Adoption Centre helps nearly 1000 cats and kittens every year. Their main focus and priority is to rehome those cats and kittens. All cats and kittens in their care receive a thorough medical examination by a vet, vaccinations, treatment for fleas and worms, microchipping, neutering, any treatment required prior to homing, and most importantly lots of love and attention!
You're able to nominate any local Cats Protection branch or centre to receive 100% of the money you raise from your challenge, helping the cats and kittens in your chosen area.
If you’ve got any queries or concerns about the challenge or the fundraising commitment, please get in touch with the team at fundraising@cats.org.uk
