Thank you for attending this year’s AGM and thank you, also, for your patience with the problems that we have experienced with this year’s meetings.

Unfortunately, we had to adjourn the re-convened meeting on Friday 30th June, as we did not have a quorum of 30 members present and entitled to vote on the approval of the minutes of the AGM 2022 or acceptance of the 2022 Report and Accounts. We have decided to re-convene the AGM to allow members to vote again on those two issues.

The numbers present and entitled to vote are important for the following reasons.

The Rules

1. The Rules require a quorum of 30 members entitled to vote upon the business to be conducted at the meeting. We only had 28 members join the meeting who were entitled to vote as the remaining 6 attendees were members of staff behind the scenes.   

2. If no quorum is present at the re-convened meeting within fifteen minutes of the time specified for the start of the meeting, the meeting will be adjourned.

Re-convened meeting

As we did not have 30 members present and entitled to vote, we have decided to re-convene the AGM in order for members to vote again on the approval of the AGM 2022 minutes and on acceptance of the 2022 Report and Accounts.
