Femme fatale Sophie (9) loves fuss and sitting on laps. She also makes it clear when she’s had enough attention…or doesn’t want it to end.
Mark Magee, manager of Cats Protection’s Exeter Axhayes Adoption Centre, said: “Sophie’s been waiting to be picked for a year now – I think she must be Exeter’s most unlucky-in-love cat.
“She’s very sweet, but she’ll also keep you on your toes. She can be affectionate one minute and a bit grumpy the next.
“We really don’t want her to be left on the shelf, so if you think you could give Sophie the loving home she so wants and deserves, please get in touch.”
Sophie’s perfect match would be someone who is as fond of cuddles as she is, and has plenty of time to give her the attention she desires.
She didn’t get on with cats in her previous home, so Sophie needs to be the only cat in the household. She would be best suited to a home without children and would need to be able to go outdoors.
If you think you could make Sophie’s Valentine’s Day a happy one this year, please contact Cats Protection’s Exeter Axhayes Adoption Centre on 01395 232377.
