Whether you’ve always been a thrill-seeker, or you’re celebrating a milestone in your life, by doing a skydive for cats, you’ll be making a massive difference.
A tandem skydive is the easiest and most popular of all skydives as you will jump strapped to a qualified instructor who will do all the hard work for you.
Will you take the leap and make a difference for cats?

What is a tandem skydive?

A tandem skydive involves you being connected to a British Skydiving qualified instructor through the use of a harness. You’ll be able to experience the 120mph rush once you have completed your 20-minute safety briefing on the day of your jump.

Who can take part?

Participants must be over 18

Is there a weight limit?

The maximum weight for participants is 14st

What should I wear?

Comfortable casual / sports clothing is advised with pump / trainer type shoes that can be laced up securely. No boots

How much do I need to raise?

There is a registration fee of £70 and we ask you to aim for a target of £450 sponsorship commitment to help make better lives for cats.

Please note: we will cover the cost of the skydive if the full £450 minimum sponsorship target is reached, otherwise each participant will have to pay the remaining £280. Please aim to have raised 80% of the target by four weeks before the event.

How we're helping cats in Scotland

The money you raise will go directly towards helping local cats and kittens. Your sponsorship will provide food, shelter, care, veterinary treatment and help us find new homes for cats and kittens in need. Find out more about our work here

What do I need to know?

In the event of a refusal by the passenger to jump and exit the aircraft, no refunds or repeat attempts will be given.

Please make sure you wear comfortable clothing and lace-up shoes (for example, trainers).

Failure to wear the correct clothing may result in you being unable to jump.

It is vital that you arrive at the tandem skydive centre by the allocated arrival time in order to complete the training and administration. Failure to do so may result in the loss of your booking fee and being unable to carry out your jump.

There is a weight limit of 14 stone/95kg and all jumpers will need to declare themselves fit to jump using a 115a British Skydiving Medical Form. If for any reason they feel they cannot sign this form then form 115b needs to be completed and signed by a doctor in order for the participant to jump.
Some disabilities may need an assessment at the centre prior to the jump date by our Chief Instructor. Please contact Skyline if you require further assistance with this.

The minimum age to participate in the skydive is 18 years old.

Your skydive experience will last approximately three to five hours. However, skydiving is a weather dependent activity and we ask that you allow the full day in case of delays. Should the weather be unsuitable for jumping on the day it will be up to the jumper to return to the skydive centre on another occasion(s) if necessary to complete their jump.
