In memory of Hope

We adopted our beloved Hope (usually known as Hopey) from the Cotswold Cat Centre in 2022. We were told she might need time to settle in, but on the first evening with us she was running round the whole house, jumping on everything and purring excitedly. She wore herself out and fell asleep on top of both of us. Since then, she was a constantly friendly and happy presence and all in all the best puss we could ever have hoped to find. She loved company, sitting on us for hours, following us round the garden like a little dog, and obviously jumping on any available keyboards. She had the loudest purr I've ever heard, the softest fur and an impressive array of meows, one for every occasion. One of us wasn't really into cats before we got Hope, but she sorted that out very quickly and melted our hearts. She will be very much missed, every day.
