On the 12th of April, I lost you—and a piece of me went with you. You were there for me through the hardest times, always knowing how to make things feel a little lighter. A gentle head bump, a quiet snuggle, the soft sound of your purring—somehow, that was enough to get me through. I hope you felt how deeply you were loved. In every cuddle I gave back, every scratch behind your ears, every little chin tickle, and every time I said your name for no reason at all—I hope you knew. Thank you for being my little girl, for loving me in ways I’m only now beginning to fully understand. You weren’t just part of my life—you were my whole world.
