In memory of Fred

I miss you with all my heart, Fred. I loved you so much and you were the sweetest, gentlest, bravest cat. I am so fortunate to have had you in my life for 8 years but feel desperately sad that we didn't have longer together. You slept in my arms every night and made getting up in the mornings a pleasure. I always felt so lucky to have you and the space and silence you have left behind is almost unbearable. Just burying my face in your soft fur and listening to your soft purring always made things better and not having you beside me is frightening and bleak. I will keep going and try to honour your memory in every way I can. You made me a better, more patient human and taught me so much about love. I will always carry you in my heart and memory. Thank you for everything my dearest.
