Nicky Trevorrow

Nicky is the Cat Behaviour Manager at Cats Protection, helping people to understand cat behaviour and promoting good cat welfare. She is a Registered Veterinary Nurse, has a BSc (Hons) degree in Animal Behaviour and a Postgraduate Diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling. Nicky is a Clinical Animal Behaviourist registered with the Animal Behaviour & Training Council and a full member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors. She represents Cats Protection on the Animal Behaviour & Training Council and is the resident cat expert on Cats Protection podcast Cats Got Your Tongue?. Nicky has a black cat called Kaeto.

Daniel Warren-Cummings

Daniel is the Cat Behaviour Officer at Cats Protection, helping people to understand cat behaviour and promoting good cat welfare. He has a Master’s Degree in Animal Welfare Science, Ethics and Law and is a Clinical Animal Behaviourist registered with the Animal Behaviour & Training Council. Daniel organises the Cats Protection Cat Behaviour Conference, an annual event for animal professionals and cat owners to learn more about cat behaviour. He was previously a behaviourist with a dog rehoming charity and continues to volunteer as a trainer for a disability charity that helps train assistance dogs. Daniel has a tabby cat called Lady Bug.

Helen Crofts

Helen is the Veterinary Support Officer at Cats Protection, responsible for promoting good cat health and welfare to veterinary professionals and the public. She is a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse and worked in a large private veterinary practice for 10 years. Helen has a Master’s Degree in Psychology and Behaviour Change and is interested in changing human behaviour to help improve animal welfare. She has been a volunteer animal carer for Sussex Pet Rescue and the Donkey Sanctuary and is currently volunteering for SHOUT as a counsellor. Helen has a greyhound called Ned. 

Sarah Elliot

Sarah is a Veterinary Officer at Cats Protection, responsible for promoting good cat health and welfare to veterinary professionals and the public. She qualified as a vet from the Royal Veterinary College London and gained her membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in the subject of feline medicine in 2018. Sarah is currently studying for a Master’s Degree in Animal Welfare, Ethics and Law with the University of Edinburgh. She has worked in both private and charity small animal practice in the UK as well as in New Zealand. Before joining Cats Protection, Sarah worked as a veterinary surgeon at the PDSA.
