Rochdale
As a charity we are able to help thousands of cats each year thanks to the generous donations we receive from members of the public. Our fundraising events organisers have the exciting and varied role of helping plan and deliver local fundraising events to raise the vital funds needed to help cats. Our fundraising events organisers use their passion for cats and people to plan cake sales, barn dances, quiz nights and everything in between.

We’re looking for a passionate Fundraising Events Helper/Organiser to help run weekly craft sessions at our local Cat Centre based in Oldham (OL4 2JW)
This is a wonderful opportunity to combine your love for crafting with your compassion for cats. We’re seeking someone imaginative, organised, and enthusiastic—someone who enjoys planning fun, cat-themed activities that bring people together and raise vital funds to support the care and rehoming of our feline friends.
If you love sewing, knitting, embroidery or crochet and want to inspire others with your creativity while making a real difference, we’d love to hear from you. From making cosy blankets and playful toys for our rescue cats to creating handmade items for charity sales, your talents will help improve the lives of cats in need and brighten the community around them.
Our fundraising events organisers usually spend two to three hours per week in this role, which is flexible and can be shared by more than one volunteer.
We are committed to building a diverse, compassionate and inclusive organisation where everyone can be themselves and do their best. We are courageous and compassionate in our purpose of helping people see the world through cats’ eyes. Together, we can make a difference. Together, we are all for cats. Join the UK’s leading cat welfare charity and help make a better life for cats, because life is better with cats.
