How much do I need to raise?

There is a registration fee of £50 and we ask you to aim for a target of £395 sponsorship commitment to help make better lives for cats.
The money you raise will help us to be there for all cats, you make our work possible

Please note: You must commit to our minimum fundraising target of £395 and reach this two weeks before your jump in order for us to pay your jump fee. If you do not reach the minimum sponsorship target each participant will have to pay their jump fee on the day of the skydive. We will be here every step of the way to support and guide you through your fundraising. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us as early as possible.

What you need to know:

The minimum age is 16. There is no upper age limit.
A self-declaration medical certificate is required, however, regardless of age, you do not need to get a medical form signed by a doctor to take part in a tandem skydive.
If you have doubts about your fitness to do a tandem jump, you need to discuss this with your doctor. Please contact UK Parachuting to get the form your doctor will need to read.
If you require a female instructor, please contact UK Parachuting at the time of booking your skydive.
The weight limit for a tandem skydive is 15 stone 8lbs (100 kgs) for men and 15 stone 6lbs (99 kgs) for women,  with clothing. Weight must be in proportion to height. We have BMI restrictions in place to ensure this is achievable. The maximum permitted BMI is 39.9.

What should I wear? Do I need any experience?

You should wear comfortable clothing, such as a track suit, and a pair of trainers. No experience is needed! Just an appetite for adrenaline and a desire to make a better life for cats.

What happens on the day?

On the day of your skydive your tandem instructor will explain in detail what you have to do and what will take place during the flight up, the freefall descent and the ride down under the parachute. This briefing normally takes around 20 minutes.

With a tandem parachute especially designed for two people, you will board an aircraft and soar to around 13,000 feet (approximately two miles high!). When you and your instructor leave the plane, you will fall at about 120 mph, descending to 5,000 feet in around 40 seconds. At this point, your instructor will open the parachute and fly you safely back to earth! During the six minutes or so under the parachute, you will enjoy breath-taking and unique views of the local area and beyond.
