Tickets cost £45 and include a drinks reception with a string quartet, a three course dinner, a disco, charity auction and grand raffle.
The black tie ball is taking place on Saturday 16 November at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Paradise Way, Coventry, from 7pm to 1am.
Cats Protection’s Coventry Branch co-ordinator Wendy Harris said: “We are extremely excited to be holding our first ever charity ball.
“Everyone who attends the ball will be making a massive difference to the hundreds of cats and kittens we help in Coventry every year – and enjoy a brilliant night out at the same time!
“It’s going to be a fantastic evening, hosted by BBC Radio 2 newsreader and writer Justine Greene.
“Some of the wonderful cats we have helped over the years will have tables named after them hosted by their owners, so they will be at the heart of our event.”
A string quartet will play during the drinks reception and there will be a memory board for people to pin photos of their cats.
“We have already received fantastic support from local businesses, most of whom have offered their services for free to help us raise the most we can for our cat welfare work – we are so grateful for their help,” said Wendy.
“We’ve also had some amazing prizes and auction items donated, including a 42 inch flat screen television, a cattery stay and martial arts training!”
If you would like to know more, reserve your ticket to the ball or donate a prize for the raffle or auction, please email Wendy Harris: coordinator@coventry.cats.org.uk.
