Welcome to Cats Protection Chiltern

Cats Protection Chiltern has a new team of volunteers looking to help cats and their owners in the Chilterns and surrounding areas.

As our new team grows and more volunteers join us, we will be able to help more cats by extending the services we can offer. Currently we can help with the following:

  • Advertising lost and found cats via our website and social media channels
  • Contributing to the cost of neutering for owned cats
  • Alternative adoption if your cat meets our criteria
  • Education and advice for owners

Adopt a cat in the Chiltern area

Alternative Adoption

We are currently offering an alternative adoption service if your cat meets the following criteria. 

Is your cat:

  • over 6 months old
  • under 12 years old
  • already neutered
  • not pregnant

 

Has your cat:

  • behavioural or veterinary issues
  • been owned by yourself for over 6 months

If  so, we can help find a home without your cat coming into our care. For more information, please call 0345 260 2396.

Without volunteers, Cats Protection Chiltern Branch simply wouldn't exist. Our amazing, friendly volunteers are a diverse group with a shared love of cats who fit volunteering around their home lives and personal commitments.

We're often looking to welcome new volunteers to join our brilliant team. As a charity we are able to help thousands of cats each year thanks to the generous donations we receive from members of the public. Our fundraising team leaders have the exciting and varied role of inspiring our fundraising volunteers to plan and deliver local fundraising events. Using their passion and imagination, they oversee a small team of fundraising volunteers who come together to raise the vital funds needed to cover costs such as veterinary bills and food. As we are all volunteers, and many of us work full time or have other commitments, we can't always get back to you immediately, so please be patient. We do check our messages regularly and will get back to you asap.
