***Christmas is coming and as we all have busy times ahead over the holiday period, we will pause all adoptions from Thursday 18th December until Friday 2nd January. Should you wish to adopt a feline companion, we will continue to book cat meets and reserve cats for collection after the celebrations. On the big day, our cats will be having a post chicken dinner snooze in the peace and quiet of a warm bed, dreaming of a new home for 2026.***

We’re here to support cats and kittens in West Midlands, covering postcodes: B1, B10-B19, B2, B20-B29, B3, B30-B38, B4, B42, B44-B48, B5, B6, B60, B61, B7, B72- B76, B8, B80, B9, B90, B91-B94, B97 and B98.

Run by a dedicated team of cat lovers, we’re passionate about improving the lives of cats and kittens in the West Midlands, working to find loving new homes for local cats in our care, offering support with neutering, and lost and found cats, as well as general education and awareness within the West Midlands area. Cat adoption in West Midlands

Could you provide a loving new home for a cat in the West Midlands? During the process of adopting a cat from us, we’ll consider everything from your potential pet’s personality and how this fits with your lifestyle, to your home environment – creating the perfect match for both cat and owner and the start of a wonderful feline friendship.

Adoption fees

  • Cat or Kitten up to 6 months of age £115 per cat/kitten
  • Cat aged 6 months and over £95 per cat

Volunteer at Cats Protection West Midlands Cat Centre

Without volunteers, Cats Protection West Midlands Cat Centre simply wouldn't exist. Our amazing, friendly volunteers are a diverse group with a shared love of cats who fit volunteering around their home lives and personal commitments.

We're often looking to welcome new volunteers to join our brilliant team.
