Run by a small team of dedicated, cat-loving volunteers, we’re passionate about improving the lives of cats and kittens in East Surrey, Caterham and Redhill, working to find loving new homes for local cats in our care, offering support with neutering, and lost and found cats, as well as general education and awareness within the East Surrey, Caterham and Redhill area. Volunteer at Cats Protection East Surrey, Caterham & Redhill

Without volunteers, Cats Protection East Surrey, Caterham & Redhill simply wouldn't exist. Our amazing, friendly volunteers are a diverse group with a shared love of cats who fit volunteering around their home lives and personal commitments. 

We're often looking to welcome new volunteers to join our brilliant team. As well as meeting great people and making an incredible difference to the cats of East Surrey, Caterham and Redhill, you'll enjoy practical benefits such as discounted pet insurance. We are particularly looking for fosterers and digital support.

Fosterers needed

Fosterers provide short-term care for homeless cats until they find permanent homes. If you have a spare room or space for an outdoor pen, you could make a real difference, even by fostering occasionally. The indoor space must be dedicated to the cat, and you’ll need a clean driving licence to help with transport when required.

Fostering is rewarding and flexible, helping us support more cats as our foster network grows. You can foster indoors (kittens always stay inside) or outdoors in a branch-funded cabin, with all supplies delivered and full training provided. Breaks are always allowed, and we carefully match cats to make fostering straightforward and enjoyable.
