In memory of Jess

When I was 9 years old I had to make a choice between 2 cats to adopt from the Cats Protection. I only saw one of their profiles, I instantly knew that Jess was my cat. So we adopted her and brought her home a few months later. 16 years, 3 months and 19 days later I've finally had to say goodbye to her. She's been buried in one of her favourite sleeping spots in the garden, and all I can think of is how happy she'll be to not have to worry about being wrapped up in a towel to dry her off when she wants to come back inside....
